Government to soon consider economic chamber laws - newspaper

The government will consider the drafts of laws regarding Hungary's economic chambers within the next week or two, the business daily Napi Gazdaság reported on Wednesday.
The newspaper said no decision had yet been made with regard the chamber to which the food industry players and retail food-trade would belong.
The government's 2012 budget bill calls for HUF 1.8bn in support for the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, while earmarks only HUF 58m for the sectoral chambers in the chapter of the agriculture ministry, Napi Gazdaság noted.
The newspaper said that parliament is likely to vote on the economic chamber laws during its autumn session.
