Germany’s Rutronic opens subsidiary in Serbia
Electronic component distributor Rutronik has strengthened its Eastern Europe presence through a sales office in Serbia.
Hitherto, Rutronik’s Serbian customers have been served through the company’s office in Slovenia. Now they can obtain local technical support and consultancy, the company informs. The new subsidiary is headed by Area Sales Director Ladislaus Reiter. The distributor already maintains a network of sales offices in many Eastern European countries including Poland, Russia, Slovakia, Czechia, Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria, Estonia and Latvia.
In the first place, the company serves electronics manufacturing services providers. The ongoing production relocation process makes the Eastern European countries very attractive markets for component distributors, the company said. “Being the third-largest country in the Balkans, Serbia has established as a very promising market in Europe. We see excellent sales possibilities, especially in places where we already have customers which so far have been attended from Slovenia”, said Rutronik Sales and Marketing board member Thomas Rudel.
