Germany's Rehau: Czech expansion to supply automotive sector

Rehau has begun work on a €11 million ($15.1 million) investment to expand capacity at its plant at Moravska Trebova / Czech Republic.
The expansion is aimed primarily at improving the supply of automotive parts to customers including Toyota Peugeot Citroën Automobile (TPCA), Skoda and, in future, Toyota, Hyundai and Kia. Work is scheduled for completion by March 2008 when the workforce will be increased from around 130 to 390. Rehau is planning additional investments, including a research and development centre in the Czech capital Prague. (plasteurope.com)
