General gov't deficit Ft 135.5 bln in November

Hungary's general government, excluding local councils, registered a GFS cash flow-based deficit of of Ft 135.5 billion in November following a slight Ft 2.1 billion gap in October, bringing the eleven-month deficit to Ft 1,197.1 billion (€4.732 billion), according to preliminary figures published by the Finance Ministry on Tuesday. The preliminary figure compares to the ministry's Ft 179.5 billion deficit forecast for October. The central budget had a deficit of Ft 6 billion as opposed to the deficit forecast of Ft 44.4 billion and separate state funds reached a slight surplus of Ft 0.6 billion as compared to a deficit forecast of Ft 11.79 billion. Deficit in social insurance funds was Ft 130.1 billion, a figure above the Ft 123.3 billion forecast.
