FDI totals €2 bln in Q1

Hungary received foreign direct investments of €2 billion in the first quarter, boosted by the sale of Mol Nyrt's natural gas units.
Mol's sale of its natural gas businesses to Germany's E.ON AG contributed more than €500 million to the investment figures, the ministry said. Companies operating in Hungary reinvested an estimated €579 million in the first quarter, €123 million more than in the same period of last year, the ministry said.
