Europa Brókerház activities suspended
Hungary’s central bank suspended the activities of Europa Brókerház until its ownership problems are cleared up, rejected a request to approve the acquisition of a stake in Europa Brókerház by the US-based World Systems Market and ordered the American company to part with the stake within three months, the National Bank of Hungary (MNB) announced on Friday.
The central bank suspended the activities of Europa Brókerház until approval is issued for the acquisition of the stake World Systems Market must divest. The NBH gave a compliance deadline of six months. Failure to meet the deadline will result in the withdrawal of the broker's license, the MNB said.
