Ecostat sees twelve-month CPI slowing to 5.5% in October
Hungarian economic research institute Ecostat sees twelve-month inflation slowing to 5.5 in October 2008, according to its latest report.
Ecostat sees gross wages rising 7.3% yr/yr in October, with public sector wages climbing 5.8% and private sector wages increasing 8%.
Ecostat sees retail sales growth picking up to 0.8% yr/yr by October.
It projects a workday- and seasonally-adjusted 6.1% yr/yr expansion of industrial output, with domestic sales climbing 2.9%, but export sales rising 8.6%. (MTI – Econews)
