Ecostat projects industrial production growth of 8.8% yr/yr in October

Ecostat, the research arm of Hungary's Central Statistics Office (KSH), forecasts twelve-month industrial production growth of 8.8% in October 2006, according to its latest Microscope forecast published on Wednesday.
Industrial sales in Hungary are expected to increase 5.4% year on year in October and export sales are projected to increase 11.9%.
Ecostat projects retail sales will increase 4.9% year on year in October, and it forecasts an inflation rate of 2.5%. Gross wages are expected to increase 6.2% during the period, rising 4.4% in the public sector and 7% in the private sector. Farm gate prices will rise 5.3% year on year in October, according to Ecostat.
