Bookkeepers Mazars, Metrum to merge

French-owned Mazars Kft, a major auditing, tax consulting, and bookkeeping firm, and Metrum Kft, a leading Hungarian-owned peer, will link up their operation to form Hungary's fifth largest auditor, Népszava said.

The newly merged company, which will run under the name Mazars Metrum Kft, will have an estimated turnover of around Ft 1 billion this year. The company has such prestigious firms among its clients as Danone, lingerie maker Triumph and the Mustang group.
