Average salaries in BP are double those of eastern Hungary
Hungarians working in the capital city of Budapest earn more than their peers around the country, and almost twice as much as those in the underdeveloped regions of eastern Hungary, according to data collected by fizetesek.hu, which is a salaries site run by jobs portal Workania.
Workers in the capital earn an average of gross HUF 300,000, approximately one-fifth more than the gross HUF 246,000 average for the whole country.
