Audi Hungaria Motor, is spending €16.5 mln to expand its tool factory, the Hungarian unit of German carmaker Audi told MTI on Monday.

Installation of machinery in the addition will start in October.

Audi Hungaria will make 60 new hires by 2013 as a result of the expansion.

The new capacity creates the opportunity for technical developments and optimization, said Audi Hungaria head Thomas Faustmann.

Audi Hungaria opened the tool factory at its base in Győr (NW Hungary) in 2005. It employs more than 380 people at present.
