Albania's EU-harmonized annual inflation slightly slows in October

Albania's annual harmonized index of consumer prices (HICP) rose by 2.5% in October, after advancing by 2.6% in September, the Tirana-based Institute of Statistics (Instat) said on Thursday.
In October, prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages and transport increased the most, 3.9%, followed by communication with a 3% rise.
On a monthly comparison basis, HICP edged up 0.2% in October, after rising 0.5% in September.
Albania's non-harmonized consumer price inflation slightly slowed to 2.4% year-on-year in October, from 2.5% in September, INSTAT said earlier this month.
