200,000th factory train arrives at Audi Hungaria plant

The 200,000th factory train arrived at German carmaker Audi's plant in Hungary on Thursday, Audi Hungaria Motor said.
The trains, which run between Audi's headquarters in Ingolstadt and Győr (NW Hungary), have delivered 13.4m tons of raw materials, parts and finished products since Audi Hungaria was established in 1993.
About 59% of Audi Hungaria's deliveries are by train at present, up ten percentage points from 2009.
Sixteen pairs of trains travel between Ingolstadt and Győr each week, up from just five when the rail service was launched in 1996.
