Waberer's inks HUF 25 bln contract with DAF

Hungary’s Waberer's International signed an agreement to buy 1,000 new DAF tractors for almost HUF 25 bln at the IAA transport fair in Hannover, Hungarian news agency MTI reported today citing yesterday's announcement of the road haulage company.

The purchase agreement was signed by Waberer's chairman-CEO György Waberer and DAF board member for marketing and sales Ron Bonsen.

Waberer's will take delivery of the last vehicle in the first half of 2015. Afterward, almost half of its 3,300-strong fleet will be DAF-made.
