Used car sales grow 18% in Q2 in Hungary

Hungary’s second-hand car sales were up by 18% in the second quarter of the year as compared to the same period a year earlier, exceeding 160,000, used car portal Hasznaltauto.hu told state news agency MTI today based on its own data collected in the period. 

Average monthly sales in the first half of the year were up to 51,000 from the same period a year earlier, when sales came around 46,000.

Used car imports rose more than 20% year-on-year in Q2, while new car registrations increased 32%, MTI reported.
