Used Car Imports Over 9,000 in May

The number of imported used cars registered in Hungary reached 9,234 in May, climbing 13% from April, but falling 25% from the same month a year earlier, listings site JoAutok.hu said on Monday, citing figures compiled by Datahouse.

For the period January-May, used car imports fell 24% year-on-year to 44,102.

New car registrations edged down 2% to 47,089 during the same period.

JoAutok.hu noted the impact of higher credit costs on the car market.
