Spain's Segura buys plot in Szolnok to build €10 mln plant
Spain's Segura has purchased almost ten hectares in the Szolnok industrial park, where it plans to build a €10 million car parts plant and a solar panel factory, local officials said on Thursday.
Construction on the car parts plant will start in four to five months and production will begin a year later. The solar panel plant is expected to be completed even sooner. The investments will create about 400 jobs, but will also provide work for a further 800 employees at suppliers.
Including Segura, there are six big investors and eight smaller ones in the Szolnok industrial park.
