Skoda market share in Hungary climbs to 11%

The Skoda brand’s share of Hungary’s new car market rose to 11% last year, vehicle importer Porsche Hungaria told MTI.

The Czech brand was the third-biggest on Hungary’s new vehicle market.

Data from the Hungarian Association of Vehicle Importers show the number of Skoda models sold in Hungary last year rose 5% to 5,889.

Porsche Hungaria said fleet sales accounted for more than 82.5% of the sales, exceeding the market average of 67.5%, and giving the brand a little more than two-thirds of the corporate market.
