Report: Jaguar Land Rover chooses Austria over Hungary

Contrary to previous expectations, Jaguar Land Rover automobile manufacturer has chosen Magna Steyrʼs offer to produce cars in Graz, Austria, rather than in Hungary, online news portal hvg.hu reported today.
The report noted that the English multinational automotive company previously put forward the possibility of opening itʼs new automobile factory in Debrecen, Szombathely, Zalaegerszeg or Győr.
According to hvg.hu, the companyʼs growth rate exceeded the capacity of the companyʼs plants in the United Kingdom, as such expansion became necessary.
Jaguar Land Rover manufactured one third of the 1.53 million the cars made in Britain, hvg.hu noted. In 2008, Indian automobile manufacturer, Tata Motors Limited bought the company from Ford Motor Company.
