Registered unemployment down 4.9% yr/yr in October

The number of registered unemployed was 377,046 in October, down 4.9% year on year and 0.3% less than in September, the State Employment Service (ÁFSz) said on Monday.

The number of jobless declined by 20,000 from September and was down 1,200 compared to a year earlier. The ÁFSz reported a declining trend in March-June this year, during which the largest month-on-month drop, 30,000, took place in April.
