Porsche Hungaria, the Hungarian importer of Volkswagen group brands, has sold around 30,000 new passenger cars and light commercial vehicles this year, up from 28,789 in 2021, managing director Balázs Németh said on Thursday, according to a report by state news wire MTI.

Fleet sales accounted for about three-quarters of turnover, Németh said. Around 60% of vehicles sold were SUVs, in line with market trends, he added.

Porsche Hungária imports the Audi, Seat, Cupra, Skoda, and Volkswagen brands to Hungary, as well as Moon EV charging systems. Its used cars unit is Das WeltAuto. It has 55 sales points and 72 service centers.

The company had net sales revenue of HUF 401 billion last year.
