Petrol sales fall, diesel sales inch up in Q1-Q3
Sales volume of petrol fell but edged up for diesel in Hungary in the first three quarters of 2011 compared to the same period of a year earlier, data from the Hungarian Petroleum Association (MÁSz) show.
Sales of petrol fell 6.3% to 968.9m liters. Sales volume of diesel rose 0.9% to 1.19bn liters.
Total vehicle fuel sales declined 2.4% in Q1-Q3.
MÁSz members account for about 85% of Hungary's retail vehicle fuel market.
