Number of new passenger car registrations climbs 29% in November
There were 4,489 new passenger cars registered in Hungary in November, up 29.2% from a year earlier, industry researcher Datahouse said on Thursday.
In January-November, the number of new passenger car registrations rose 5.3% to 41,670 from the same period a year earlier.
The number of all new vehicle registrations rose 30% to 6,230 in November from the same month a year earlier. The number climbed 9.9% year-on-year to 57,137 in January-November.
There were 1,328 new light commercial vehicles registered in November, up 33.2% from a year earlier. Registrations of new LCVs were up 23.2% at 9,748 in January-November.
Datahouse figures show seven new buses were registered in November, down from 22 in the same month a year earlier. The number sold in January-November dropped 27% year-on-year to 174 .
There were 338 new heavy commercial vehicles registered in November, up 38.5% year-on-year. The number rose 80.9% to 3,704 in January-November.
The number of new motorcycle registrations was up 23.6% at 68 in November, but fell 17.1% to 1,841 in January-September from the same respective periods a year earlier.
