New car registrations rise 10% in June
New passenger car registrations rose 10% year-on-year to 11,361 in June, the Hungarian Vehicle Importers Association (MGE) said on Thursday, citing figures compiled by Datahouse.
In January-June, new car registrations climbed 16% to 64,796.
MGE said it lowed its forecast for full-year passenger car sales to 126,000 from 140,000.
Sales of light commercial vehicles rose 21% to 12,231 in the first half.
Sales of heavy commercial vehicles increased 77% to 2,461.
Motorcycle registrations rose 17% to 2,699.
