New Car Registrations in Hungary Fall 10% in August
The number of new passenger car registrations in Hungary fell 10.4% year-on-year to 8,951 in August, data compiled by the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association (Acea) show.
Hybrid electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles accounted for 48% of sales.
Cars with gasoline engines made up 34% of sales and vehicles with diesel engines 12%. Fully-electric vehicles accounted for 5% of sales.
For the period January-August, new car registrations slipped 3.3% to 73,858.
