MOL signs €2 mln contract with Dacia
MOL Romania, the domestic branch of the Hungarian petroleum group MOL, has signed an approximately €2 million ($2.7 million) contract with the car producer Dacia Pitesti, which entails the delivery of two million liters of Diesel oil and petrol for the first fill-up of the Logan model.
The contract was signed for a one-year period, with a possibility of an extension “This contract is just a part of a bigger deal we want to develop in the future,” stated Zsolt Szalay, general manager of MOL Romania. Under the terms of the agreement, all Logan cars produced by Dacia will have their first fill-up at MOL, with the fuels being delivered by the petroleum company to the Pitesti-based plant. According to the manager of MOL Romania, Dacia will be granted a discount for this contract; however, the exact figure has not been made public. (zf.ro)
