MOL inaugurates HUF 35 bln butadiene plant, lays cornerstone of synthetic rubber plant

Hungarian oil and gas company MOL inaugurated a HUF 35 bln butadiene plant in Tiszaújváros, eastern Hungary, today, state news agency MTI reported.
Butadiene is the most important component of synthetic rubber.
Prime Minister Viktor Orbán participated in the ceremony held at the base of the MOL petrochemicals unit.
At the same time, MOL laid the cornerstone of a synthetic rubber plant it is building at the site with Japan Synthetic Rubber Corporation (JSR). The plant will be completed in about two years.
