Mercedes-Benz leads premium segment in Hungary
Sales of new Mercedes-Benz passenger cars in Hungary reached 4,501 last year, making it market leader in the premium segment, Mercedes-Benz Hungária, the local sales unit of Germany's Daimler, said on Tuesday, citing figures compiled by Datahouse.
SUVs accounted for close to half of sales, Mercedes-Benz Hungária said. Models produced at Daimler's plant in Kecskemét made up close to one-fourth of sales, it added.
The plant makes A-Class, CLA and CLA Shooting Brake models.
