Latvia industrial output falls in March

Industrial production in Latvia declined 2.9% year-on-year in calendar adjusted terms in March, the Central Statistical Bureau in Riga said Tuesday. Manufacturing output dropped 5.7% annually during the month and mining and quarrying output fell 8.5%. Electricity and gas supply, meanwhile, rose 5.6% yr/yr. On a seasonally adjusted month-on-month basis, overall industrial production recorded a growth of 0.7% in March.
