KSH: Industrial production down 4.6% in March
The volume of industrial output fell 4.6% in March in a year-on-year comparison, aided in part by last year’s high base, according to a first release published today by the Hungarian Central Statistical Agency (KSH).
Production volumes, based on working-day adjusted indices, were down 2.4% in March, year-on-year, while output rose by 0.3% in the first quarter, KSH reported.
Seasonally and working-day adjusted industrial production volume was down 1.1% in March as compared to the previous month, according to KSH.
