Iveco buys Afin Leasing

Iveco SpA exceeding € 9 billion, has got 31,000 employees and approximately 800 dealers all over the world, Iveco (Industrial Vehicles Corporation) is now one of the world’s largest manufacturers in the transport sector. Iveco is controlled by Fiat SpA, and received European Union antitrust approval to acquire Afin Leasing AG. Incorporated in 1996, Afin International Inc. was the first company of their group. Its mission: to promote Iveco sales and sales financing in the Central and Eastern Europe. The European Commission, the 25-nation European Union's antitrust regulator in Brussels, announced the approval in a statement today. Iveco International Trade Finance SA will take over Vienna, Austria-based Afin, which finances and promotes the sale of Iveco vehicles in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Estonia and Lithuania.
