Island’s Promens: acquisition in Spain, new unit in Poland

Promens (Reykjavik formerly Polimoon), has acquired the cosmetics packaging production unit of STE Packaging Development.
The business, which manufactures and distributes thick-walled cosmetics pots, jars and components with high decoration capability, has annual sales of around €3.8 million ($5.6 million) and 33 employees. In Poland, Promens opened a rotational molding plant in Miedzyrzecz in September. The 10,000 square meter factory is equipped with nine rotational molding machines capable of processing over 1,500 tons of years of polyethylene. (plasteurope)
