Industrial production drops 2.1% in October

Hungary’s volume of industrial output declined by 2.1% in October compared to the same month a year earlier, the index adjusted for working days being equal to the non-adjusted one, Hungary’s Central Statistical Office (KSH) said today in a first release of data.
However, the volume of industrial production in October – according to seasonally and working day-adjusted indices – was above the level of the previous month by 2%, KSH said. In the first ten months of the year, industrial output grew by 1.1%, as compared to the same period in 2015.
