Hungary's industrial output rose an unadjusted 9.8% in October year-on-year and was up 1.8% from September on a seasonally and working day adjusted basis, the Central Statistics Office (KSH) said on Wednesday. Industrial output in the first ten months of 2005 was up 7.2% from the same period last year. In September, industrial output rose a seasonally and workday adjusted 2.5% in a month and rose 8.9% year-on-year in workday adjusted terms. Industrial output in the first nine months of 2005 was up 6.9% from the same period last year. The figures are preliminary.
