Industrial output up 8.8% yr/yr in June

Hungary's industrial output rose by 8.8% year on year in June, according to unadjusted figures, while data adjusted for working days showed a 11.5% jump, the Central Statistics Office (KSH) said on Tuesday. The June growth figures compared with an unadjusted +10% and a working-day-adjusted +7.4 yr/yr growth in May. Output went up by 10% yr/yr in January-June, up from a 10.3% yr/yr growth in the first five months, the KSH added. According to figures adjusted seasonally and by working days, the statistics office has detected a 1.8% rise from May against a 1.2% m/m increase in the previous month.
