Imported used car sales fall 19% in February
Sales of imported used cars in Hungary fell 19% year-on-year to 10,566 in February, listings portal JoAutok.hu said on Thursday, citing figures compiled by DataHouse.
The top-selling brands are Volkswagen, Opel, Ford and Toyota, JoAutok.hu said. Compact and low mid-range cars account for 46% of sales, it added.
Imported used car sales have fallen around 20% since second-wave pandemic restrictions were introduced in the autumn, JoAutok.hu CEO Bertalan Halász said.
