Hyundai plans plant in Russia

Hyundai Motor Co. said yesterday it plans to build a factory in Russia, though key details including the location of the plant and size of the investment remain undecided.
Hyundai Motors Co. plans to build a new plant, this time in Russia. The production capacity of the new plant will be 100 thousand cars annually, the official representative of the company said yesterday. However, Hyundai Motors hasn’t specified the location of the construction site and the amount of supposed investments. Hyundai Motors Co. is the world’s sixth biggest car manufacturer. Today Russian truck-making plant in Rostov assembles trucks and buses under Hyundai license. Hyundai currently has factories in China, India, Turkey and the United States, with another under construction in the Czech Republic. (russia-ic.com)
