Hungary use car sales fall more than 8% in 2012
The number of used cars sold in Hungary fell 8.5% to 403,720 last year, according to data from Weltauto, which has a network of 38 dealerships around the country. Used car sales at dealers were down 5.9% at 125,061. Sales of imported used cars jumped 71% to 53,533 because of the reduced registration tax for such vehicles. Weltauto is owned by vehicle importer Porsche Hungaria.
