Hungary's September industrial output up preliminary adjusted 11.6% yr/yr

Hungary's industrial output rose 3.1% in September from August in volume terms according to seasonally- and working day-adjusted figures and was up 11.6% in the twelve months from September 2005 according to working-day adjusted figures, preliminary figures published by the Central Statistics Office (KSH) on Tuesday show.

Unadjusted output was up 9% from a year earlier. Output rose by 10.1% Year-on-year in the first nine months of 2006. Hungary's industrial output rose both an unadjusted and a working day-adjusted 9.0% Year-on-year in August and was down 2.2% from July according to seasonally- and working day-adjusted figures. Hungary's industrial output rose 7.3% in last year and was up 7.4% in 2004. KSH will publish revised and detailed figures for September industrial output on November 15. (Mti-Eco)
