Hungary's August industrial output up preliminary adjusted 9% yr/yr

It was up 9% in the twelve months from August 2005 according to working-day adjusted and unadjusted preliminary figures, the Central Statistics Office (KSH) published on Friday. Output rose by 10.3% year-on-year in the first eight months of 2006. Industrial output rose both unadjusted and a working-day adjusted 12.2% year-on-year in volume terms in July, and output was up 1.1% from June according to seasonally- and working-day adjusted figures. Hungary's industrial output rose 7.3% in last year and was up 7.4% in 2004. KSH will publish revised and detailed figures for August industrial output on October 13. (Mti-Eco)
