Goodman beefing up operations in Poland

Goodman Group, which manages logistics real estate, has bought a 31.5 ha landsite in Modlniczka near Krakow. The company intends to build almost 158,000 square meters of warehouse space in the town at an anticipated cost of around €80 million ($112 million).
More than 18,000 square meters of storage units will be built in the first phase of the investment. Construction work is due to get underway at the beginning of 2008 and should be concluded by the autumn of that year. Eurinpro, a part of the Goodman Group, also plans to invest in Poland. It intends to build a 40,000 square meters warehouse-logistics-office base in Zukow (Mazowieckie voivodship) next year.
