BMW Group Boasts Double-digit Sales Growth in Hungary

BMW Group's sales of new BMW models in Hungary climbed 15% to 2,690 in the first half from the same period a year earlier, BMW Group Magyarország said, according to a report by state news wire MTI.

Local sales of the German carmaker's Mini brand climbed 43% to 351.

BMW was the seventh most popular car brand in Hungary during the period and led the premium segment.

 New passenger car registrations in Hungary reached 57,559 in H1, practically level with the number of cars registered (57,408) in the base period.
