The AutoWallis Group has opened Slovenia’s only Land Rover dealership, thus further increasing its retail activities in the country, according to a press release sent to the Budapest Business Journal.

With the British brand, the members of the Hungarian group (Avto Aktiv and Wallis Motor Ljubljana) now sell a total of five vehicle brands in five Slovenian cities.

The recently opened 450 sqm salon is directly neighboring the capital city’s only BMW dealership, operated by Wallis Motor Ljubljana, facilitating a reduction in the turnaround times of various brand-related services.

In connection with the new dealership, Péter Antal, director of AutoWallis’s retail & services business unit, said that the step supports one of AutoWallis’s strategic goals of introducing and selling the brands represented by the group with the greatest possible coverage in the 14 countries in the region where the group operates. In addition to Land Rover, the newly opened dealership also provides customers access to repairs of another British vehicle brand, Jaguar.

As a member of the AutoWallis Group, Wallis Automotive Europe has been the exclusive importer of the Jaguar and Land Rover brands in the Central and Eastern European market (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, Slovenia) since 2016, which Hungary joined in the spring of 2020.
