Automotive industry supplier KMGy puts new capacity online
Hungarian vehicle instrument maker KMGy will soon start production at unit Tamgép's base in Tamási (SW Hungary), business daily Napi Gazdaság reported on Wednesday.
Company owner Pál Zelenka told the paper that the investment was completed in 2008, but KMGy waited until now to start production. He said output of the base in Tamási, which will start with 20 workers, could grow as small-scale serial production of aftermarket parts moves from Asia back to Europe.
KMGy has bases in Budapest and Csorna (NW Hungary).
Zeleneka said the company completed a HUF 1 billion investment at the base in Csorna at the end of last year.
KMGy has annual revenue of more than €20 million, mostly from exports.
