Audit Office reports Budapest Transport Company to the police

The State Audit Office has filed a report with the Budapest police against the Budapest Transport Company (BKV) for alleged misappropriation of funds in the course of vehicle leasing agreements concluded in 2005 and 2006, the office reported on Monday.
The State Audit Office complaint asserts that BKV did not conclude leasing agreements for buses, trolleybuses and other vehicles in 2005 and 2006 in the least expensive manner, thus causing HUF 500-HUF 700m in losses.
