Audi Hungária workforce climbs to over 8,000

The number of people employed at Audi Hungária Motor, the Hungarian unit of German car maker Audi, has risen to above 8,000, Audi told MTI on Thursday.
The company added 1,450 to its workforce last year and hired 600 new employees since January.
Audi Hungária Motor said that it expects to hire 2,100 more workers by the time it opens its new plant in the city of Győr (NW Hungary) next year.
The unit currently employs 900 workers at the new plant.
