Audi Hungaria Management, Union Reps Reach Wage Deal

The management of Audi Hungaria has reached an agreement with union representatives on this year's pay rise, the local unit of German car maker Audi said on Friday, according to a report by state news wire MTI.

Union leaders approved the management's latest offer at a meeting on Friday, Audi Hungaria said.

Audi Hungaria will raise base pay by 17% from April 1, and it will incorporate 3% of the variable wage into base pay from July 1.

The company employed close to 12,000 people at the end of last year.
