A showroom for Alpine sports cars, owned by Renault Group, will open in Budapest early in the fall, Renault Hungária told state news wire MTI.

Renault partner CarNet Triplex will open the 60 sqm showroom on Váci út, a thoroughfare in the north of the capital.

Sales of the Alpine A110 model are expected to reach 15-20 a year, but Renault Hungaria managing director Tamás Wachtler said an expanding model offering would boost sales.

Alpine's management announced the opening of the showroom at the Formula 1 Hungarian Grand Prix a few weeks earlier.
