Hungexpo revenue over HUF 5 bln in 2015
Hungexpo, the company managing the Hungexpo Budapest Fair Center, reported revenue of over HUF 5 bln in 2015, around 30% more than in 2014, CEO Gábor Ganczer said yesterday.
About 51% of revenue came from events organized by Hungexpo, 45% from events organized by other companies and 4% from other activities.
In 2015 visitor numbers were over 500,000 and exhibitors leased more than 100,000 sqm of floor space. The companyʼs payroll increased by 15% to manage growing demand.
Ganczer hopes to strengthen and expand the companyʼs business this year. There are already 23 events planned for 2016.
