A patient flying from Hungary to Texas helped Angel MedFlight Worldwide Air Ambulance break records in May.
Angel MedFlight, a flying ambulance service that transports patients around the world said that it topped its record for longest flight last month by taking a patient roughly 6,000 miles, between Kuwait and Massachuessets. The flight from Hungary to Texas, which was more than 5,000 miles, was the company’s second-longest.
Rebekah Kanigan, Director of Business Development, said that international transports are on the increase and the company is gradually covering more areas. She added that summer is typically a busy time for the company.
